This is a Spiral Trimesh display using an eagle image designed in the Tlingit Indian Art form, this art form is native to the pacific Northwest, specifically the Alaskan Northwest Coast Indians. There are many places online to find out more about this culture and it's art, there is one such description located here and here to get you started if your interested. I always thought these would make nice tattoos if your into NA art!
