Once you have your OE account set
up and tested to send /receive mail
you need to make sure your settings
are as follows in order to use your
Ready To Mail Stationery as well as
formatting your own stationery.
1.
Go to your Inbox and click on
Tools (up top) then select Options.

2.
Once you've opened the Options
window, make your settings
look like the following:

paying
close attention to the Default
Messaging Programs area, be sure
your boxes are grayed out, if
not you need to click on Make
Default, so that your OE is handling
all incoming and outgoing email.
3.
The next tab in the Options window
you need to be sure your set on
is the Send tab:

Here
you can make some decisions as to
how you want things however you
need to have Mail Sending Format
dotted to HTML. You can make further
changes by clicking on HTML Settings,
but the default ones are probably
fine in that window.
4.
Ok Now your ready to send a new
message?? Almost!! One more thing
you have to do that's very important
to using my Ready To Mail Stationery
and that is from your Inbox, up
top click on New Mail, then you'll
see this window:

Click for a larger view of this
image
Once
open go up top and click on View
and make the checkmarks the same
as mine. Making doubly sure that
Source Edit is checked under View.
This will enable your Outlook
Express to use all 3 tabs at the
bottom of the window (Edit,Source,Preview).
If your not seeing the 3 Editing
Tabs verify by clicking on Format
| Rich Text (HTML). If your set
to Plain Text Sending format in
your Options window you have to
make this change each time, so
go ahead and be sure your set
to send in HTML Format. All 3
tabs at the bottom of your screen
should be there now. These tabs
I refer to in the instructions
for using the Ready To Mail Stationery.
Also you'll notice the other checkmarks
will make buttons and icons visible
for things you'll need at one
point or another. :o)
