With
your Outlook Express open and your Postcard
Template installed in your Stationery folder,
at the top of your Outlook Express window
click on Message | New Message Using | Select
Stationery and browse through your Stationery
folder to find Postcard Template.html. Select
it to highlight it and Click OK to open
it in Outlook Express. |
| Now
you should have the Postcard Template
loaded and ready to format. There are
many options when formating this template.
You may choose to leave it plain with
no visible borders, or you may like to
dress it up using borders in colors of
your choice to match your image etc. We
will cover these options as we go along.
Let's get started!

You
need to have your Outlook Express set up
so that you can view the 3 editing tabs
at the bottom of your New Message window
(Edit, Source, Preview) to make the adjustments
to your Template. If your not seeing these
tabs at the bottom of your window click
on View up top and select Source Edit as
shown.

To
begin, highlight the Image Here text and
push Backspace one time to erase my text,
this is the place that marks your image
position in your postcard.

Now
don't move the blinking cursor position
and go up top and click on Insert | Picture,
you will get a popup box that will allow
you to browse to the location of your
picture on your Hard Drive. |

Click
Browse and navigate to the folder where
your image is located and select your picture. |

Now
you should be seeing the contents of the
folder where your image is stored, so click
on it to select it and Push Open to load
it to the pop up box to be inserted into
your postcard. |

Your
popup box returns, push OK and the image
will be inserted into your postcard.
