Learning to Add a Link To Your Outgoing Messages - Continued

"Links" are what weave and connect this world wide web together, they are an active address that enables you to connect to another location or pre-determined destination. Learning how to add a link to your e-mail will enable you to share your favorite web pages and other locations with your friends, as well as make fun links to your e-mail address.

Adding Links continued... here is an alternative way to send a link to a web page you'd like to share using your Outlook Express.

In order to add links as described below you have to have your setting selected to Rich Text (HTML) See here for instruction if your not sure how.

Let's Get Started!

 

If while browsing you come across a web page you find interesting and would like a friend to see it , using your Internet Explorer, you click on File, up top on the toolbar:

Here you'll find 2 choices to send by e-mail , the last will save the link to your desktop only. If you choose Link by E-mail it opens your Outlook Express automatically and appears there ready to send:

All you have to do is format, type a message if you like and send!

Notice the page Title is entered as the Subject and it shows the web page URL as an attachment. Finish typing and send!!

If you select Send Page by E-mail then the web page will appear in your Outlook Express. Makes it easy to share pages either choice you make!
