Learning to Position an Inserted Image in Outlook Express

If you don't need help now, you may eventually! All you need is provided here!

You've seen your image inserted into your e-mail and you want to change it's positioning? This can be done a few different ways, the first being to adjust the alignment or justification. . . .

Please note! In order to insert pictures or images as described below you have to have your setting selected to Rich Text (HTML) See here for instruction if you're not sure how.

Let's Get Started!

Highlight what you wish to move and then click the Align button of your choice either Left, Center, or Right. Shown here:

I highlighted both text and image and moved them together to the left margin.

Highlighted both and clicked Center Align to move them to the center.

Once more I highlighted both text and image then clicked Right Align and moved them to the right margin.

Here I highlighted the text first and selected Left Align then highlighted the image and selected Right Align. So as you can see you can arrange things in any many you choose simply by highlighting what you wish to move and selecting where you want it aligned in your e-mail.

When set click Preview and see what you've done!

Once you have it inserted you click beside your image and either hit Enter on your keyboard to begin a new line below your image or continue on with your message from there.

I hope this helped to show you how to insert an image or picture into your e-mail so you can feel comfortable and begin sending goodies to share with your friends.
