.eml Explained

I have come to enjoy using OE 6 extremely and firmly believe it's the best & most versatile e-mail program out there. A version of Outlook Express comes built in with Win98 but is most likely version 4, so you will need to upgrade your software to version 6, some of these pieces of stationery were designed prior to the new release but every effort has been made to make them compliant with any version 5 package, if you upgrade the Internet Explorer to version 6 the OE 6 comes with it, both are outstanding programs, IMHO (in my humble opinion) Internet Explorer 6 is the best browser online today! :o)

Granted there are several ways of sending and receiving your e-mail, but the Outlook Express is truly the most fun & functional!!! It enables you to utilize many of your systems capabilities through HTML, JAVA, VBS, CSS, DirectX scripting and the list goes on, it's wonderful!!!

There are a few settings you may need to adjust to fully optimize the way you're able to use your OE, but well worth learning, it's really not that difficult. I've included a few helpful hints for you here. Once you have your settings optimized you're ready to begin using what I have offered here, and may even become inspired to begin making some of your own stationery as well! ;-)
If you have ANY problems viewing these samples then check the Viewing Helps section to be sure your system has all the current updates available for your computer. There are system requirements with all of these updates so please read them carefully. For more specific instructions on using Outlook Express check here!

Now rather than give you a thumbnail offering of the stationery I have made to share with you, I have incorporated it in a manner you will see exactly what your receiver will be seeing, as long as you follow the instructions included with each piece. The manner in which you type on these will vary from piece to piece, but you and your recipient are sure to enjoy them, once you become accustom to using the stationery, everything else will seem quite blasé to you ;-)

I have packaged these pieces in 2 ways, one copy is zipped to help speed up download time and one is not, for those who don't want to mess with unzipping. The .eml files have to be download and or unzipped to a folder anywhere you choose on your HD, but I recommend making the new folder easy to access, like on your Desktop or in My Documents for example and name the new folder something like "Ready to Mail Stationery".

The zipped version for experienced users is smallest and fastest to download, you just need to take note of where you unzip it too so you can find it! ;o) Either way you choose to download is fine just select save this file to disk when the download box pops up after clicking on the download icon as shown below. Then you will simply go to that folder and click on the envelope icon of your selection which automatically opens in OE ready for you to begin your new message. :o) If your new stationery doesn't automatically open in Outlook Express for you then you need to read how to make some adjustments here. Then you'll be setup and ready to send mail at any time with no more hassle! :o)

Look for these icons that denote which package your downloading!

One other fun point to add here is, when you right click the title line beside the icon to download the .eml files and select "Save target as", then the box pops up and you select "Save to disk", directing it to go into your "Ready to Use Stationery" folder, when the download is complete, if you select "Open" the file will pop up ready for you to use right now! At that time a clean copy is already stored away in your folder ready for you to send again and again, pretty neat huh? So if while your here browsing and you see one you think someone you know will enjoy feel free to right click on the .eml icon and when transfer is finished click open and send your new message, they'll be so pleased to hear from you! If they enjoyed your mail, tell them to come help themselves to some from my collection as well. For help in using "Ready To Mail" .eml stationery visit here.
